Made a last minute reservation on my birthday and I was pleasantly surprised! My mother & I enjoyed our food much more than we expected! The portion control was ideal & the pricing was considerably low for the quality. The servers were kind enough to give me a birthday ice cream without me even requesting it! I’m usually apprehensive about going to restaurants as a two party/alone because of the dip in service you may receive off the basis of being assumed you won’t tip, but I had a great experience. Quick service and attentive servers despite the bustling nature of a busy restaurant! Although next time I’ll request a different seat ahead of time because I felt like I was attached at the hip to the diners next to me.
The food and service were excellent! Everything was incredibly unique and delicious. I'd definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone who wants to experience an eclectic menu!
My family hates trying new places, but Moderne Barn impressed on all fronts. We came for brunch and had a mix of entrees. I had an absolutely delicious burger, with thick-cut bacon that was scrumptious. The space is lovely, with a light, airy feeling and a lot of charm. Parking is also very easy. The staff were attentive throughout and we didn’t have to wait long for our food despite the popularity of Sunday brunch.

We loved everything about this place. I recommend you make reservations as it was completely packed. The service was great. Loved the ambiance in the restaurant very lively. The food and drinks are superb. Will definitely come back.
Oct 2025: We had been here couple times in past. This time around they had a salmon special that was very delicious. Likely a seasonal menu option I guess. Totally recommend this place anyone looking for a good lunch or dinner option. Sept 2024: Yet another amazing food options.. my personal food favorites are calamari and salmon.. and obviously brownie to end on a sweet note Calamari, octopus for app Halibut or lamb chops for entrees Brownie vanilla ice cream for dessert.. Espresso with sambuca to close the dinner..
We had a Sunday brunch. The service and ambiance were outstanding. BLT was top notch. My burger and wife's steak and eggs, on the other hand, we're bland. I'd go back to try other menu options.
Really nice restaurant with great service. We stopped by for pizza and also tried the steak and eggs. Food is great, and the staff was friendly and helpful too. We asked for well-done eggs, and they were cooked just right—the kids really enjoyed them. Highly recommend this spot for a great meal.
It’s always a treat to come here. The food is consistently good. From the meatballs and burrata to the steak and seafood risotto (which was fresh and flavorful), each course was equally delicious. The perfect ending to the meal was the Baklava which was so flaky that I may visit just to have that as a treat one evening along with the tiramisu cocktail! I was guarded about ordering the hanger steak because that can be one that if it’s not prepared correctly is very tough and our waitress recommended I give it a try and she was right, it was delicious. The service was equally impressive. The staff was attentive without being intrusive It’s a place I’d highly recommend for anyone looking for a delightful dining experience. I can’t wait to return!
The food at the Modern Bar was excellent. I had the Duck and the way it was cooked was perfect. Our server was very friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. If you are looking for a night out or a date night this is your place!
